2025 4-star Ohio CB Dawayne Galloway has de-commited from Purdue
The hits keep coming to Purdue’s 2025 recruiting class. The latest to de-commit is CB Dawayne Galloway, a four-star from Columbus, Ohio, who was the highest rated player in the Boilermakers’ 2025 class.
Purdue’s 2025 class now numbers 12. Galloway was the lone DB committed in the class.
Last week, 2025 WR Lebron Hill de-committed and 2026 QB Oscar Rios de-committed.
Galloway had offers from West Virginia, Pitt, Kentucky and Syracuse, among others, before tabbing Purdue over Kentucky on July 5. He is a top-150 recruit and No. 7 overall prospect in Ohio, according to On3.
Galloway took an official visit to West Lafayette on June 7.
Galloway is the cousin of current Boilermakers TE Tayvion Galloway, a true freshman on the Purdue squad.
