2025 Indiana ILB Sam Steward commits to Purdue
MORE: 2025 Purdue commitments
Fort Wayne (Ind.) Homestead High’s Sam Steward won’t forget when he received an offer at Purdue’s Prospect Camp in June.
“A feeling I won’t forget,” he said.
Now, Steward has seized that offer and committed to the Boilermakers. He’s the second inside linebacker to pledge to Purdue’s 2025 class, joining Grant Beerman, and the 14th commit overall. Steward is the fifth 2025 pledge from Indiana, joining OL Cameron Gorin, RB Jaron Thomas, WR Lebron Hill and RE Landon Brooks.
Steward caught the attention of Purdue staffers at a Prospect Camp early in June, when he ran a 4.4 40-yard dash. That caused staffers to go back, review his tape and bring him back to another camp.
Now, the 6-2, 205-pound Steward is a Boilermaker.
