Acrepro.com's Wednesday Night LIVE: GoldandBlack.com's Purdue basketball chat

GoldandBlack.com’s Brian Neubert and host Alan Karpick talk Purdue men’s basketball in a 30-minute chat session.
Q; If Gicarri Harris stays all 4 years, what is his ceiling you think?
A:Star and years-long fan favorite. He chose the perfect place and it speaks volumes about him that he recognized that right away.
Q: What are you looking for Saturday (at Creighton)?
Parking.
No, seriously, just the main thing is how they mix and match personnel and what lineups they play more against Kalkbrenner.

Q: What is the starting 5 vs Creighton?
A: My guess is TKR-Smith-Heide-Loyer-Harris.
Q: Is Benter in the same mold as Loyer/Stefanovic/Mathias types or do you have a different comp in mind for him?
A: Yes, he’s very much like Mathias, though maybe a bit bigger and more physical. Dunno if he plays with the same swag, FWIW, but the skill set and player profile are pretty similar. Expecting him to have that sort of career would be a tall order, because Mathias was a great, great player at Purdue
Q: How quick does Burgess look relative to TKR, Furst, Burgess, and Jacobsen? Is he athletic enough to play the 4 alongside Jacobsen in the future? Or even to take backup 4 minutes this season if TKR is out?
A: I think his best position is 5, but if Purdue can play TKR or Furst at the 4 as they have, there’s no reason Burgess can’t. I just think they really want to have a ball-handler at that position whenever they can.
