After Iowa scare, Purdue's Trey Kaufman-Renn is fine
Purdue’s biggest injury scare, arguably, of the season to date is much ado about nothing, it appears.
Forward Trey Kaufman-Renn, who violently and awkwardly came down on his left leg at Iowa, rolling his ankle, is fine and expected to play Tuesday night against Michigan, according to assistant coach Paul Lusk, who stood in for Matt Painter for Monday’s media availability.
“He’s great,” Lusk said. “We were very fortunate. It was an awkward landing, but he’ll be good to go.”
