Arkansas LB Alex Sanford commits to Purdue from the portal
Purdue had added another portal pledge, landing a commitment from Arkansas LB Alex Sanford from the portal on Sunday.
Sanford–who visited campus this weekend–will have two years of eligibility. He played mostly on special teams while at Arkansas, taking part in 23 games for the Razorbacks and making one tackle.
Purdue coach Barry Odom was Arkansas defensive coordinator in 2020-22.
The 6-1, 225-pound Sanford signed with Arkansas over the Tennessee, Auburn and Ole Miss two years ago. He was a 3-star recruit coming out of Oxford (Miss.) High School.
Last week, Purdue landed a commitment from Arkansas QB Malachi Singleton.
