CB Cory Trice selected by Steelers in seventh round of NFL Draft
Purdue cornerback Cory Trice has been selected by the Steelers in the seventh round of the NFL Draft with pick 241 of the 2023 draft.
He’s the fourth Boilermaker picked, the most for Purdue in a draft since four were tabbed in 2006. The last Purdue player picked by Pittsburgh was TE Charles Davis in 2006.
Trice elevated his draft stock when he ran a 4.47 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
Trice was a three-year starter who made 26 starts, including 13 in 2022. He missed all but two games in 2021 with a knee injury. Trice finishes his Purdue career with 106 tackles, 15 PBUs, five interceptions and two touchdowns.
