ROCK HILL, S.C. — After being idled for months by the broken leg that cut short his junior season, Purdue basketball commitment Raleigh Burgess played his first real games post-injury this weekend at the adidas Palmetto Road 3SSB Championships in Rock Hill, S.C., during the NCAA’s first July evaluation period.

While the Cincinnati big man and consensus four-star recruit certainly wasn’t his former self right away — the version that drew national offers before ultimately picking Purdue over Virginia — he showed glimpses.
