Matt Painter talks about the challenge of Saturday afternoon's matchup at Nebraska.

Coach Matt Painter talks about the challenges ahead when No. 4 and undefeated (9-0) Purdue faces the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday at 2:15 ET in Lincoln. The Cornhuskers (6-4) are especially dangerous after winning at No. 7 Creighton last week. Nebraska should be at full strength as senior point guard and team leader Sam Griesel is expected to play after missing Wednesday’s game at Indiana due to illness. IU won easily, 81-65.

Painter also said Friday afternoon that junior Mason Gillis, who has missed the last two games due to back issues, will try to play on Saturday, but his status won’t be determined until game time.
