Purdue begins its quest to repeat as Big Ten regular season champions on Friday night when it takes on Northwestern in Welsh-Ryan Arena. The Boilermakers hope to avenge last season’s 64-58 loss in Evanston.
Purdue enters the game ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll with a 7-0 record and fresh off a 99-67 win over Texas Southern on Tuesday night. On the other sideline, Northwestern comes in with a 5-1 record, the lone defeat in a neutral-site affair to Mississippi State.
