Mbow draft stock rises

Marcus Mbow has been a busy man since taking part in the NFL Combine.
The former Purdue offensive lineman has taken visits to the Eagles and the Giants. Now, he’s slated to take trips to the 49ers and Vikings in April in the run-up to the NFL draft later this month.
The 6-5, 315-pound Mbow is thought to be a Top-100 selection who could sneak into the late-first round.
“If teams know ball, I feel like they’ll pick me up in the first round,” said Mbow with a smile after Purdue’s Pro Day in March.

Mbow took part in the Senior Bowl in January, as well as the aforementioned Combine in February.
The last Purdue offensive lineman drafted was Kevin Pamphile, who went in the fifth round to the Buccaneers in 2014.
