Purdue added another piece to its offensive line with a commitment from Missouri’s Luke Griffin on Monday.

The Chatsworth, Ga., native has two years of eligibility remaining after redshirting during his 2019 freshman season. He entered the portal on April 7, and took a visit to Purdue last weekend.

Griffin is the third offensive line transfer the Boilermakers have added, joining Ben Farrell (Indiana Wesleyan), Preston Nichols (UNLV) and Jalen Grant (Bowling Green).

Griffin is the seventh SEC player to commit to Purdue from the portal and the second Missouri player, joining long-snapper Daniel Hawthorne.

Griffin played in 30 games for the Tigers during his three seasons in Columbia. The 6-5, 328-pound Griffin started eight games at guard, including six in 2021. He saw action in 11 games last season, starting against Abilene Christian.
