Purdue’s is in the midst of evaluating its roster and looking for upgrades. That work has begun with two portal defensive linemen visiting West Lafayette.

Ohio DL Cam Rice is currently on a visit at Purdue. The 6-3, 290-pound Rice recorded 30 tackles with nine TFLs and three sacks for the Bobcats last season. He’ll have one year of eligibility.

The Morgantown, W.Va., native started his career with hometown West Virginia. After a redshirt season with the Mountaineers, Rice entered the portal and transferred to Division II West Liberty University in West Virginia.

In two seasons with the program, Rice tallied 89 tackles with 37 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, two interceptions and two touchdowns.

A product of Washington High in Massillon, Ohio, Bowling Green’s Marcus Moore will visit Purdue April 11-12. He has three years of eligibility.

Moore had transferred to Bowling Green from Akron this past offseason. Now, the 6-3, 310-pounder is on the move again after the Falcons made a head coach change with Eddie George replacing Scot Loeffler.

Moore redshirted at Akron in 2023 and played in 2024, appearing in 12 career games for the Zips. Moore notched 39 career tackles, 3.5 TFLs and one fumble recovery for Akron.
