On3 rates Brownfield as the nation’s No. 41 interior offensive lineman and No. 7 overall prospect in the state. He helped New Palestine win a state title during the fall playing on both sides of the ball.
Brownfield is the Boilermakers’ fifth pledge in the Class of 2026, joining Chicago Marist OL Rico Schrieber, Grand Rapids (Mich.) Catholic Central LB Brayden Sweeney, Ontario (Calif.) Charter Oak QB Corin Berry and Rockwood (Mich.) Oscar A. Carlson High RB Izaiah Wright.
