Purdue adds Daryl Lydon as defensive analyst for d-line
Purdue is adding Daryl Lydon as a defensive analyst working with the line, GoldandBlack.com has learned. He is coming to West Lafayette from Arkansas, where he worked the last three years. Lydon will start work on Friday.
As an undergraduate assistant in Fayetteville, Lydon worked primarily with the linebackers. The native of Round Rock, Texas, also worked very closely at Arkansas with Boilermaker d-ends coach Jake Trump and Purdue d-line coach Kelvin Green.
Before that, Lydon coached cornerbacks at Green Canyon High in North Logan, Utah.
Lydon joins other known Purdue analyst hires for first-year coach Barry Odom: Neal Posey (QBs); Ronnell Perkins (DBs); Ty Rocconi (DBs); James Brown (special teams); Neal Renna (LBs).
