Purdue adds Florida Atlantic WR EJ Horton from transfer portal
Purdue coach Barry Odom has added a player to his 2025 roster via the transfer portal: Florida Atlantic WR EJ Horton. He will have one year of eligibility remaining after not playing due to injury in 2024.
Horton is the fifth receiver pledge from the portal for Purdue and its 26 portal commitment overall.
The 6-1, 185-pound Horton played in 11 games with West Virginia in 2023, making 10 receptions for 201 yards and one touchdown. He also ran twice for eight yards and played on special teams during his one season in Morgantown.
Prior to transferring to West Virginia, Horton made 16 catches for 245 yards and two touchdowns in two seasons with Marshall. He played 19 games for the Thundering Herd.
Horton is a native of Louisville who played at Palmetto Academy.
