Purdue adds Florida Atlantic WR Jahmal Edrine
Purdue’s receiving unit got a boost with a transfer portal commitment on Monday from Florida Atlantic’s Jahmal Edrine. He’s the Boilermakers’ ninth portal addition and first receiver.
The 6-3, 210-pound Edrine brings size to the spot, which lost top 2022 playmaker Charlie Jones. Edrine was a redshirt freshman in 2022, making 39 receptions for 570 yards and six TDs for the Owls. FAU played at Purdue last season. Edrine made one catch for 39 yards in a 28-26 Boilermaker victory on September 24th in Ross-Ade Stadium.
