Purdue has likely completed its 2025 roster by adding North Florida grad student Liam Murphy via the transfer market.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Staten Island native played this season at North Florida after playing at and graduating from Columbia, where he averaged 9.9 points over 36 career games, missing one full season due to injury.

At UNF this season, Murphy mostly came off the bench to average 13 points and made 42.3 percent of his threes.

He’ll provide floor-spacing, energy and depth for a loaded Purdue frontcourt that returns All-America candidate Trey Kaufman-Renn to play next to centers Oscar Cluff and Daniel Jacobsen.

Murphy joins Cluff and overseas recruit Omer Mayer as Purdue’s additions this spring to a roster that returns enough to be considered one of the top teams in college basketball next season

Murphy will join Braden Smith, Fletcher Loyer, Kaufman-Renn and Cluff in what might be the best senior class in the country.
