Purdue adds portal kicker/punter from UConn

Purdue has augmented its special teams with a commitment from UConn kicker/punter Seth Turner on Monday. He is Purdue’s 24th spring portal commitment.
The 6-1, 195-pound Malvern, Pa., native has three years of eligibility and has yet to punt in a game. He presumably will backup sophomore kicker Spencer Porath.
Purdue has already added several specialists from the portal in April: Georgia long-snapper Luke Raab and Nebraska punter Jack McCallister. Purdue brought in punter Sam Dubwig, a redshirt freshman, from Arkansas in December.
