Purdue adds SEC offensive lineman from transfer portal

First-year Purdue coach Barry Odom continues to turn over the roster, adding Auburn transfer offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner on Friday night.
The 6-2, 328-pound Joiner, who hails from Anniston, Ala., has three years of eligibility.
As a redshirt freshman last year, Joiner played in 10 games with five starts at left guard and earned SEC All-Freshman honors. He logged 486 snaps between left guard, center and right guard. Most of Joiner’s action came at left guard, where he played 470 snaps. Joiner played in a season-high 78 snaps twice last season, at Kentucky and home against Texas A&M.
Joiner is Purdue’s seventh commitment from the portal, joining North Carolina QB Ryan Browne, Memphis DB Chalil Cummings, Tulsa WR Corey Smith, Tulane OL Jude McCoskey, Bowling Green DL Marcus Moore and LB Sanders Ellis of Tennessee State.
