Purdue has added another player from UNLV: LB Mani Powell, who will have one year of eligibility.

He is the third LB to commit from the portal, joining Arkansas LBs Alex Sanford and Carson Dean. Powell began his career at Arkansas.

Powell, Purdue’s 13th overall commitment from the portal, is the seventh UNLV player to commit to the Boilermakers.

Powell ranked fifth on the team in tackles in 2024, making 59. He also tallied nine TFLs and 3.5 sacks.

Powell spent his first two seasons at Arkansas in his hometown of Fayetteville, playing in 21 games and making five tackles. While at Arkansas, he played for Barry Odom, who was Razorbacks DC from 2020-22.
