Youngsters dominate as Purdue rolls past BG Hessing
Behind a combined 31 points from freshmen Myles Colvin and Camden Heide, Purdue cruised to a 2-0 record in Europe, beating the BG Hessing Kangaroos 90-57.
The Boilermakers’ last lead was their biggest, as Game 2 came a lot easier than did Game 1.

Trey Kaufman-Renn also scored 15 points, unofficially. Fletcher Loyer scored 13.
But it was Colvin and Heide who starred, the former scoring 16 and making 3-of-5 threes and the latter adding 15, making 3-of-3 from long range.
Purdue roasted BG Hessing’s predominately zone defense from the perimeter, while also forcing bulk turnovers and generating a good deal of offense in transition. Hessing finished with 17 turnovers.
More to come.
