Purdue has flipped the commitment of defensive end Max Carmicle from Northern Illinois. He was on an official visit to West Lafayette this weekend and announced his decision today.
The 6-6, 215-pound Carmicle is a three-star recruit from Country Club Hills, Ill., Hillcrest High who had offers from the likes of Iowa, Indiana, Iowa State and Western Michigan.
He’s the first defensive end to commit to Purdue in the Class of 2026 and the 12th commit overall.
