Purdue football season ticket sales surge toward 40,000

Summer is heating up, and so are sales of Purdue football season tickets in advance of Ryan Walters‘ first year as Boilermaker head coach.

According to the Purdue athletic department, season ticket sales already have exceeded 39,000 for the 2023 football season, including 6,000 new season tickets.
The last time Purdue exceeded 39,000 season tickets sold was 2008, when more than 41,000 were purchased for what was Joe Tiller’s 12th and final season as Boilermaker coach.
In 2022, Purdue sold more than 37,000 season tickets. The school sold over 33,500 season tickets in 2021 after fans weren’t allowed to attend games in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Single-game ticket sales for John Purdue Club members began on Tuesday. Single-game ticket sales for the general public will begin on July 18.
Purdue still has over a month to sell more season tickets, as the home opener is Sept. 2 vs. Fresno State, the first of seven home games for the Boilermakers in 2023.
