Purdue gets commitment from 2026 Tennessee CB Zyntreacs Otey
Purdue has added a second commitment to its 2026 class, netting a pledge from Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, Tenn.) CB Zyntreacs Otey on Monday.
The 5-11, 165-Otey visited Purdue unofficially in July, having been to campus numerous other times. The On3 three-star prospect–who has reclassified from the Class of 2027–picked the Boilermakers over offers from the likes of Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Kentucky, Memphis and Western Kentucky, among others.

This will be Otey’s first year at Battle Ground Academy after transferring from Riverdale High in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Purdue’s other 2026 commitment is QB Oscar Rios.
Purdue is also recruiting Otey’s younger brother, 2027 CB Dre Otey, who visited Purdue with Zyntreacs this summer.
