Purdue gets commitment from Auburn DE Jeffrey M'ba
Purdue scored a major commitment today when it landed a pledge from Auburn defensive lineman Jeffrey M’ba.
He’s the third portal SEC defensive lineman to commit this offseason to Purdue, joining Vanderbilt’s Malik Langham and Arkansas’ Isaiah Nichols to help bolster the Boilermakers’ defensive end spot
The 6-6, 305-pound M’ba visited Purdue last weekend. He has two years of eligibility and is the Boilermakers’ 11th portal commitment of the offseason. M’ba is the third Auburn player in as many years to transfer to Purdue, joining LB O.C. Brothers and WR Elijah Canion.

M’ba played one season at Auburn, seeing action in nine games in 2022 and making six tackles with a sack. He arrived at Auburn from Independence Community College in Kansas, where he was the No. 1 ranked JC player in the nation. M’Ba recorded 50 tackles and 15 TFLs in two seasons at Independence CC.
M’ba started playing football three years ago in France for the Pionniers de Touraine. He’s originally from Libreville, Gabon.
