Purdue gets commitment from four-star Illinois S Luke Williams
Purdue landed one of its biggest commitments yet with Luke Williams pledging to the Boilermakers on Monday.
Williams is a four-star safety from Naperville (Ill.) North High. He chose Purdue over Illinois. Iowa, Nebraska and Iowa State, among others, also offered.

The 6-1, 174-pound Williams took an official visit to West Lafayette earlier this month. He is the ninth commitment in the Boilermakers’ class.
Williams’ older brother Zeke Williams–a cornerback–recently transferred to Purdue as a walk-on from Northern Illinois.
