Purdue gets commitment from Georgia WR C.J. Smith
Purdue has added another player from the portal, landing a commitment tonight from Georgia WR C.J. Smith. He has three years of eligibility. Smith visited West Lafayette on Friday. Georgia teammate De’Nylon Morrissette also committed on Friday night.
A native of Orlando, Smith signed with Georgia in the 2022 class out of Mt. Dora High. After not making a catch in 2022, the 6-3, 180-pound Smith caught six for 116 yards in his second season with the Bulldogs.

Smith is the third receiver from the portal to commit to the Boilermakers, joining UCLA’s Kam Brown and Morrissette.
Smith is the fourth Georgia player to pledge to Purdue from the portal, joining CB Nyland Green, OLB C.J. Madden and Morrissette.
