Purdue gets commitment from Ole Miss CB Braxton Myers
Purdue continues to add talent to its secondary, netting a commitment from Ole Miss cornerback Braxton Myers on Tuesday.
He is the third cornerback Purdue has added from the portal this offseason, joining Salim Turner-Muhammad and Marquis Wilson. Earlier, the Boilermakers landed a pledge from junior college cornerback Botros Alisandro.
A 6-1, 185-pound native of Coppell, Texas, Myers visited Purdue last week after entering the portal earlier this month. The Class of 2023 product was originally committed to USC before de-committing and signing with Ole Miss back in December. He has four years of eligibility.

Myers, a former four-star recruit, was an early enrollee in Oxford, wooed to Ole Miss by Sam Carter, who is now the cornerbacks coach at Purdue.
Myers was the No. 232 recruit and No. 27 cornerback in the 2023 On3 Industry Rankings, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He is the son of former Alabama and NFL defensive tackle Michael Myers.
