Purdue has added a long snapper to its growing collection on April portal imports, getting a commitment from Georgia’s Luke Raab. He has four years of eligibility and is Purdue’s 16th portal commit in the spring window.

The 6-2, 215-pound Raab played at Brentwood Academy in Nashville before matriculating to Georgia, where he redshirted last year. Raab was rated as the No. 6 long snapper in the nation by Kohl’s Professional Camps.

Purdue has another long snapper poised to join the team: Incoming freshman Justin Schmidt.

The staff was in the market for long snapping help with Nick Levy and Claude Strnad both having entered the portal. Levy landed at Wisconsin.

Raab is the fourth Georgia player to commit to Purdue in April, joining OL Marques Easley, WRs Nitro Tuggle and Michael Jackson. Last year, Purdue took four players from Georgia in the portal: WR De’Nylon Morrissette, WR CJ Smith (now at Memphis), CB Nyland Green (Arizona State) and DE C.J. Madden, who is poised to be a starter for the Boilers in 2025.
