Purdue in the Pros: Week 14
Five former Purdue players suited up on NFL rosters in Week 14 of the season. GoldandBlack.com looks at how each Boilermaker fared over the past week.
PAYNE DURHAM – TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Durham saw 25 snaps of offense and 12 on special teams in Tampa Bay’s 28-13 win over Las Vegas, recording a tackle. The 7-6 Buccaneers will continue a playoff push at 4:25 p.m. E.T. against the Chargers.
CHARLIE JONES – CINCINNATI BENGALS
Jones’ lingering groin injury kept him out of Monday’s 27-20 win over Dallas. He’s now missed five consecutive games for the 5-8 Bengals, who head to Tennessee for a 1 p.m. E.T. kickoff on Sunday.
RAHEEM MOSTERT – MIAMI DOLPHINS
A hip injury caused Mostert to be inactive for Miami’s 32-26 win over the Jets. His status remains in question ahead of the Dolphins’ 1 p.m. kickoff at Houston on Sunday.
SANOUSSI KANE – BALTIMORE RAVENS
Kane and the Ravens enjoyed a late-season bye week. He will square off with former Purdue teammate Tyrone Tracy and the Giants at 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.
GEORGE KARLAFTIS – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Karlaftis lined up for 51 of 60 snaps in Kansas City’s dramatic 19-17 win over the Chargers. He recorded two tackles and two quarterback hits. The 12-1 Chiefs should feel good heading into a 1 p.m. E.T. kick at Cleveland on Sunday.

AIDAN O’CONNELL – LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
O’Connell left Sunday’s 28-13 loss to Tampa Bay with a knee injury in the third quarter. While initial fears centered around structural damage, a bone bruise is the diagnosis, and he’s questionable for Monday’s game. He completed 11 of 19 attempts for 104 yards with an interception on Sunday.
TYRONE TRACY – NEW YORK GIANTS
Tracy lined up for 65 of the 78 offensive snaps for New York in its 14-11 loss to New Orleans, running 16 times for 45 yards and a touchdown. The former wide receiver also snagged five passes for 38 yards. The struggling 2-11 Giants will square off with the Ravens on Sunday at 1 p.m. E.T.
CORY TRICE – PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Trice was activated from injured reserve, but he was on the inactive list for the Steelers’ 27-14 win over the Browns on Sunday. Pittsburgh heads to Philadelphia for an in-state showdown at 4:25 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.
