Five former Purdue players suited up on NFL rosters in week four of the season. GoldandBlack.com looks at how each Boilermaker fared over the past week.

DERRICK BARNES – DETROIT LIONS

Barnes was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 4 due to a knee injury he suffered in Week 3. He will be eligible to return in Week 8.

PAYNE DURHAM – TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Durham saw 15 snaps at tight end and six on special teams, where he made a tackle in the Buccaneers’ 33-16 win over the Eagles. Tampa Bay faces a short week as it prepares for Thursday Night Football at Atlanta.

CHARLIE JONES – CINCINNATI BENGALS

Jones played three snaps on offense and returned a punt for three yards in the Bengals’ 34-24 win over the Panthers. He’ll see former teammate Sanoussi Kane and Baltimore at 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.

RAHEEM MOSTERT – MIAMI DOLPHINS

Mostert was inactive for the Dolphins’ Monday night game against the Titans, missing his third straight contest with a chest injury. His status remains unknown ahead of Miami’s trip to New England on Sunday at 1 p.m. E.T.

SANOUSSI KANE – BALTIMORE RAVENS

Kane played 22 snaps across a variety of special teams units as the Ravens cruised past the Bills on Sunday night. Baltimore will square off with Cincinnati in a divisional matchup at 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.

GEORGE KARLAFTIS – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Big George played 51 of 56 snaps in the Chiefs’ 17-10 win over the Chargers, recording three tackles and a quarterback hit. The 4-0 Chiefs will host New Orleans on Monday Night Football next week.

AIDAN O’CONNELL – LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

O’Connell did not play, serving as the backup quarterback for the Raiders’ 20-16 win over the Browns. Las Vegas will head to Denver for a 4:05 p.m. E.T. kickoff on Sunday.

TYRONE TRACY – NEW YORK GIANTS

Tracy played 16 snaps at running back and three on the kick return team in the Giants’ 20-15 Thursday night loss to the Cowboys. He received four carries for two yards, hauled in a 19-yard reception and returned two kickoffs for 33 yards in the loss. He’ll look to continue expanding his role as a returner when New York flies cross country to Seattle for a 4:25 p.m. E.T. kick on Sunday.

CORY TRICE – PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Trice was placed on injured reserve ahead of the Steelers’ 27-24 loss to the Colts due to a hamstring injury. He will miss at least three more games before he becomes eligible to return from injured reserve.
