Six former Purdue players suited up on NFL rosters in week eight of the season. GoldandBlack.com looks at how each Boilermaker fared over the past week.

MARKUS BAILEY – ARIZONA CARDINALS

The special teamer was active, but he did not see any action as the Cardinals rolled past the Bears 29-9. Arizona will take on the New York Jets at 4:25 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.

PAYNE DURHAM – TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Durham saw 16 snaps on offense and 11 on special teams in the Buccaneers’ 30-24 loss on Monday Night Football to the Chiefs. He did not record any stats in his battle with former teammate George Karlaftis. Tampa Bay will return home to take on San Francisco at 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.

CHARLIE JONES – CINCINNATI BENGALS

Jones was inactive for the Bengals’ 41-24 win over the Raiders with a reported groin injury. His status remains unclear as Cincinnati prepares for a short turnaround to square off with Baltimore on Thursday Night Football.

The veteran saw 14 snaps on offense, carrying 10 times for 56 yards and catching two passes for 32 yards as the Dolphins fell at the buzzer to the Bills, 30-27. Miami will get primetime action on Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams this week.

Kane recorded two tackles in the Ravens’ dominant 41-10 win over the Broncos. Baltimore will turn around quickly to take on Cincinnati and Charlie Jones on Thursday Night Football.

GEORGE KARLAFTIS – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

The pass rusher played 34 of 55 snaps on defense in the Chiefs’ 30-24 win over Tampa Bay, recording four tackles including a sack. He’s up to 22 tackles and four sacks on the campaign. Kansas City will host Denver at 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.
