Purdue lands commitment from 2024 3-star Ohio TE Tayvion Galloway
Purdue’s 2024 recruiting class filled its one yawning need Monday when it got a commitment from three-star Ohio tight end Tayvion Galloway.
Galloway was on campus for the Ohio State game, one of several trips to West Lafayette for the Pickerington (Ohio) Central High product. The 6-4, 218-pound Galloway was committed to LSU at one time. He also considered Miami (Fla.) and UCF, among others, before pledging to Purdue.
Galloway is the 24th commitment in the Boilermakers’ Class of 2024 and the first tight end. Purdue had a commitment earlier this year from four-star TE Eric Karner, but he flipped to Texas A&M.
