Purdue has landed its second commitment in the Class of 2026, netting a pledge from LB Brayden Sweeney.

Sweeney plays for Catholic Central High in Grand Rapids, Mich. He joins Chicago St. Rita OL Rico Schrieber as Purdue’s two 2026 commits.

The 6-2, 215-pound Sweeney visited Purdue on Friday, and committed. It was Sweeney’s second visit to West Lafayette. His first came on February 1 during Junior Day when he was offered.

He also had offers from Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Miami (Ohio), Toledo, Buffalo, Coastal Carolina and Western Michigan.
