Purdue lands commitment from Ball State OT Corey Stewart
Purdue picked up some much-needed help along the offensive line on Sunday with a commitment from Ball State’s Corey Stewart. The 6-6, 303-pound native of Nashville–a left tackle–has two years of eligibility. He visited Purdue this weekend.
Stewart, who entered the portal on December 5th, was an offensive team captain in all 12 games for the Cardinals in 2023 while continuing a string of 28 consecutive starts. He capped the 2023 season by earning first-team All-MAC honors.

A junior last season, Stewart was a lead blocker for a pair of 1,000-yard runners the past two seasons and was Ball State’s highest graded offensive lineman. Pro Football Focus graded him with a 98 percent pass block efficiency.
Stewart is Purdue’s second portal commit and second offensive lineman, as Notre Dame’s Joey Tanona committed on Friday.
