Purdue lands commitment from Boston College OLB Shitta Sillah
Purdue has added another commitment from the transfer portal, as Boston College OLB Shitta Sillah has pledged on Friday. He will have one year of eligibility. Sillah is Purdue’s fifth commitment from the portal.
The 6-4, 253-pound Sillah visited Purdue last weekend. He was a three-star recruit coming out of high school in 2019 but failed to blossom. After getting some playing time his sophomore and junior seasons, Sillah started to make an impact as a pass rusher.
The Somerset, N.J. native who played at Mater Dei Prep looked like he was going to make an impact before an injury took him out for the 2022 season.
He never returned to form in 2023. Shillah made 80 tackles with 6.5 sacks and 12.0 TFLs while at BC.
