Purdue lands commitment from Orlando WR/CB Derrick Rogers
Purdue landed a commitment from 2023 WR/CB Derrick Rogers, who committed on Sunday after making an official visit this weekend. Festus (Mo.) High’s Arhmad Branch–also a WR/CB in the class of 2023–committed on Sunday, too.
The 6-1, 170-pound product of Jones High in Orlando was committed to UNLV. The three-star recruit also had offers from the likes of Miami (Fla.), Maryland and Nebraska, among others.
Rogers was committed to Maryland prior to switching to UNLV. Now, he’s headed to Purdue.
He can sign a letter-of-intent on Wednesday, February 1, when the second signing period opens. Purdue signed 12 prep players in December.
