Purdue lands big portal commitment from SEC WR

Purdue has added another piece to its wideout unit by landing a commitment from Georgia’s Nitro Tuggle.
The 6-1, 190-pound Tuggle was a four-star prospect in the Class of 2024 out of NorthWood High in Nappanee, Ind. He played in seven games for the Bulldogs last year, making three catches for 34 yards. Tuggle will have three years of eligibility.

Tuggle was arrested in March on reckless driving and speeding. He subsequently was suspended.
At NorthWood, Tuggle made 173 receptions for 2,866 yards and 41 touchdowns. He also ran 25 times for 314 yards and three touchdowns.
Purdue already has added one receiver the portal in this cycle: Tulsa’s Corey Smith.
Tuggle is Purdue’s ninth commitment from the portal, joining Arkansas State DL Ian Jeffries, Auburn OL Bradyn Joiner, North Carolina QB Ryan Browne, Memphis DB Chalil Cummings, Smith, Tulane OL Jude McCoskey, Bowling Green DL Marcus Moore and LB Sanders Ellis of Tennessee State.
