Purdue quarterback Brady Allen has entered the transfer portal … again.
Allen entered the portal on December 26 and wasn’t with the program in Orlando for the Citrus Bowl. He then re-joined the team on January 8. Now, he’s gone again.
It’s believed Allen had interest from myriad suitors across the nation last winter, taking a visit to Ole Miss. But the Fort Branch, Ind., product opted to stay rooted in West Lafayette, where he enrolled in January 2022.
The 6-6, 210-pound Allen went through spring drills under new coach Ryan Walters, competing with Hudson Card and early enrollee freshman Ryan Browne.
Allen is the second Purdue quarterback to hit the portal since the end of 2022, as Michael Alaimo jumped in after the season.
