Purdue RB Kobe Lewis is in transfer portal

The Purdue backfield is down a man with Kobe Lewis entering the transfer portal on Monday. The redshirt junior grad transfer could have up to two years of eligibility.

Lewis was in West Lafayette just one season after transferring from Central Michigan prior to last season. Lewis made minimal impact, ranking third on the team with 146 yards rushing on 43 carries in 2022. He also caught seven passes and ran back six kickoffs.

Lewis was mostly a backup all season to King Doerue, Devin Mockobee and Dylan Downing.
