As the high school football season begins kicking off around the country, Purdue’s many commitments begin their senior — in some cases, junior — campaigns. As we have done for years, GoldandBlack.com will try to keep track of each recruit’s weekend results.
Week 5 …
QB MARCOS DAVILA
Week 4: In a 62-31 loss to Steele, Davila was 17-of-33 for 360 yards, with three TDs and two interceptions. He also ran for 48 yards on six carries, with an additional score. (Video below)
Week 3: In a 48-17 win over Abilene, Davila was 18-of-32 for 353 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions and ran for a touchdown. He became his school’s all-time passing leader.
Week 2: In a 63-34 win over Tascosa, Davila was 9-of-21 passing for 269 yards — 30 yards per completion — with a touchdown and two interceptions. He also ran for 40 yards on four attempts.
Week 1: Midland Legacy beat Amarillo 35-7.with Davila completing 16-of-29 throws fot 209 yards and three touchdowns.
WR KEONDE HENRY
Week 4: In a 41-13 win over Grand Prairie, Henry caught 10 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns. (Video below)
Week 3: Lake Dallas beat Princeton 38-0.
Week 2: Henry caught four passes for 86 yards in a 41-3 win over Centennial.
Week 1: Henry caught six passes for 76 yards and a TD in a 39-7 win over Greenville.
DB EARL KULP
Week 4: Kulp made three tackles in STA’s 48-22 win over Western.
Week 3: In a 37-36 win over Cocoa, Kulp made three tackles.
Week 2: STA beat Fort Meyers 49-0. Kulp made two tackles and broke up two passes.
Week 1: St. Thomas Aquinas fell 20-7 to St. John Bosco from California on Saturday. Kulp made eight tackles.
WR SHAMAR RIGBY
Week 4: Rigby sat out this weekend with a mild hip injury.
Week 3: Rigby caught a 17-yard pass in CCC’s 35-10 win over Tampa Catholic.
Week 2: CCC beat Trinity Catholic 35-10. Rigby caught one pass for 17 yards.
Week 1: Rigby caught six passes for 86 yards in Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic’s 21-14 win over Berkley Prep.
DB LEONTRE (SMILEY) BRADFORD
Week 4: East St. Louis beat Belleville East 48-0. Bradford made five tackles.
Week 3: ESL fell to Atascocita from Texas (of Carsen Edwards fame) 43-13. Bradford made seven tackles.
Week 2: ESL beat St. Frances Academy 13-7. Eleven tackles for Bradford.
Week 1: In East St. Louis’ 36-33 loss to Chicago Mount Carmel in Normal, Ill., Bradford recorded 16 tackles, with a sack.
WR JESSE WATSON
Week 4: East St. Louis beat Belleville East 48-0. Watson caught five passes for 69 yards.
Week 3: ESL fell to Atascocita from Texas (of Carsen Edwards fame) 43-13. Watson caught two passes for 17 yards,

DL CALEB MITCHELL-IRVING
Week 4: Mitchell-Irving remained sidelined during a 49-14 loss to South Cliff.
Week 3: Mitchell-Irving remained sidelined by an ankle injury.
Week 2: Mitchell-Irving sat out this weekend with an ankle injury. Not a long-term issue, most likely.
Week 1: Parish Episcopal fell to Aledo 50-35. Mitchell-Irving made four tackles, one for loss.
ATH KOY BEASLEY
Week 5: Beasley has returned to the field after undergoing shoulder surgery early in the season. He played in Cincinnati LaSalle’s 30-13 win over Canisius this weekend.
Week 4: Beasley remains sifdelined after undergoing surgery to repair a broken collarbone.
Week 3: Beasley is sidelined until mid-season or so after undergoing surgery to repair a broken collarbone suffered in Week 1.

Week 1: In a 28-3 win over Colerain, the four-star Purdue recruit broke his collarbone. He will undergo surgery Thursday, but hopes to return in four to six weeks.
ATH LUKE WILLIAMS
Week 4: In North’s 17-7 loss to Nequa Valley, Williams caught 10 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. On defense he intercepted two passes and made seven tackles.
Week 3: North beat Bolingbrook 51-49. Williams caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown and made five tackles, one for loss.
Week 2: North fell to Loyola Academy 27-6. Williams caught three passes for 41 yards, ran 33 yards on his one carry and recorded a tackle. He also punts.
Week 1: Naperville North beat Homewood-Flossmoor 35-21. Williams made four tackles, one for loss, and caught five passes for 45 yards and a TD on offense.
EDGE JAYLIN JONES
Week 4: West Brook was off this weekend.
Week 3: West Brook lost to Deer Park 45-14. No stats available.
Week 2: West Brook fell to Manvel 49-12. No stats available yet.
Week 1: West Brook in Beaumont, Texas, fell 51-7 at Lamar. No stats available yet.
DB WILLIAM NETTLES
Week 4: Nettles torched Bishop Lynch for 10 catches, 248 yards and three scores, leading Dallas Christian to a 41-28 win. (Video below)
Week 3: Dallas Christian beat Tolar 37-6. On offense Nettles caught 10 passes for 189 yards and a score. On defense, four tackles.
Week 2: In Dallas Christian’s 17-13 loss to Ouachita Christian, Nettles caught six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown
Week 1: In a 48-0 win over Bishop Dunne, Nettles caught nine passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns on offense and made one tackle on defense.
DL JAMARI PAYNE
Week 4: Loachapoka beat Central 46-0. Payne totaled four tackles and forced a fumble.
Week 3: Loachapoka beat Verbena 54-18. Four tackles, two TFL and a breakup for Payne.
Week 2: Loachapoka beat Bealuah 14-12. Payne made three tackles for loss, with a sack and a 70-yard fumble return for his second TD in as many weeks.
Week 1: Loachapoka in Alabama beat LaFayette 32-12. Payne made eight tackles with two sacks and a 30-yard pick-six interception.
WR TRA’MAR HARRIS
Week 5: Winton Woods beat Little Miami 51-0.
Week 4: Winton Woods won 20-0 at Turpin. Harris caught a touchdown.
Week 3: Winton Woods was off this weekend.
Week 2: In a 49-0 rout of Walnut Hills, Harris caught two passes for 40 yards and a touchdown.
Week 1: In Winton Woods’ 21-7 win over Trotwood-Madison from the Dayton area, Harris caught six passes for 38 yards.

Week 5: FC beat Avon 31-28. Hines’ stats not available.
Week 4: In a 24-10 loss to Zionsville, Hines made two tackles.
Week 3: Hines made three tackles in Franklin Central’s 35-21 loss at Brownsburg.
Week 2: In a 20-6 win over Roncalli, Hines recorded nine tackles.
Week 1: Franklin Central beat Perry Meridian 29-12. Hines recorded nine tackles, broke up a pass and caught one ball on offense for 17 yards.
PK SPENCER PORATH
Week 5: In a 42-28 win over Fishers, Porath made all six of his PATs and averaged 60 yards on seven kickoffs.
Week 4: In a 53-30 win over Avon, Porath was 5-of-5 on PATs and made a 32-yard field goal.
Week 3: In that Brownsburg win over Franklin Central, Porath was 5-for-5 on PATs, had a 52-yard punt downed inside the 5 and recorded touchbacks on all his kickoffs,
Week 2: In a big-time 45-31 Brownsburg win over Cathedral, Porath made a 26-yard field goal and all six of his PAT. He averaged 40 yards on four punts, too.
Week 1: In a 51-7 win over Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, Porath booted a 42-yard field goal on his only attempts, made 5-of-6 PATs, punted twice and averaged just under 60 yards on eight kickoffs.
OL JORDAN KING
Week 5: Fot Wayne North beat Northrop 38-6.
Week 4: North Side beat Concordia 70-39.
Week 3: North lost to Dwenger 21-12. King did play.
Week 2: King did not play.

Week 6: Merriweather was hurt early on this weekend and barely played.
Week 5: Bearden was off this weekend.
Week 4: In a 45-27 win over Anderson County, Merriweather totaled 168 yards and a touchdown.
Week 3: Bearden beat Concord Christian on Monday night 17-13
Week 2: In a 17-13 loss to Alcoa, Merriweather ran for 125 yards.
Week 1: Knoxville Bearden fell to Knoxville West 14-10. Merriweather scored on a 40-yard TD run and finished with 70 yards on 11 carries.
DB D’MON MARABLE
Week 5: In a 45-27 loss to Powell, Marable made 18 tackles.
Week 4: In a 55-14 win over Clinton County, Marable made eight tackles, including a sack, and forced two fumbles.
Week 3: Marable made six tackles in a 45-0 rout of Scott High School.
Week 2: Marable made 16 tackles, five-and-a-half of them for loss, and returned a fumble 38 yards for a touchdown in Clinton’s 44-12 loss to Knoxville West.
Week 1: Clinton (Tenn.) High School fell to Cleveland 49-36. Marable recorded 11 tackles, with a sack, and caught a 25-yard touchdown on offense.

Week 4: Frederick Douglass lost 6-0 at Corbin. No stats available.
Week 3: Lexington Frederick Douglass beat Tates Creek 43-0. No stats available.

Week 4: In a 49-14 loss to South Cliff, Anderson was 21-of-32 for 260 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He ran for 32 yards,
Week 3: In a 26-12 win over Austin LBJ, Anderson was 13-of-17 passing for 193 yards and two scores.
Week 2: In Parish Episcopal’s 27-20 loss to (Just) Episcopal, Anderson was 20-of-41 for 334 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. He also ran for 45 yards.
Week 1: Parish Episcopal fell to Aledo 50-35. Anderson was 26-of-36 for 286 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
EDGE KEYLAN ABRAMS
Week 4: DeSoto beat Dallas Skyline 42-17. Abrams recorded a sack, with three of his four tackles going for loss.
Week 3: DeSoto beat South Oak Cliff 54-14. Abrams made seven tackles, with four sacks.
Week 2: DeSoto was off this weekend.
