CB Dawayne Galloway

Week One: Marion-Franklin (Columbus, Ohio) lost, 47-12, to Granville.

Week Two: Marion-Franklin fell to 0-2, losing 30-0 to Hayes.

Week Three: Marion-Franklin is now 0-3 after losing to Holy Name, 20-7.

Week Four: Marion-Franklin dropped to 0-4 with a 34-24 loss to Briggs.

Week Five: Marion-Franklin won its first game, taking a 34-20 decision vs. Independence.

Week Six: Marion-Franklin lost 20-14 to Walnut Ridge.

ILB Grant Beerman

Week One: Lakota West (West Chester, Ohio) downed St. Xavier and QB Chase Herbstreit (son of Kirk), 17-14. Beerman led the Firebirds with 13 tackles (4 solo) with 1/2 TFL and a PBU.

Week 2: Lakota West whipped Hamilton, 31-0, in an early GMC matchup to move to 2-0. Beerman had 11 tackles and a forced fumble over three quarters, as Lakota West gave up only 102 yards.

Week Three: Lakota West lost, 14-6, to Princeton, falling to 2-1 on the season. Beerman had 6 tackles and a QB pressure/sack that led to an interception.

Week Four: Lakota West crushed Fairfield, 50-14. Beerman had 7 tackles, 1 big TFL on 4th and 1. Played some offense, as well, with 2 good blocks on TDs.

Week Five: Lakota West smashed Middleton, 51-7. Held a 4-0 Middletown team to 43 total yards and only 4 rushing yards. Beerman plays about 3 quarters and had 4 tackles, 1 sack and 1.5 TFL.

Week Six: Lakota West crushed Colerain, 52-0. 6 tackles, as Beerman had 1.5 TLs and multiple pressures on the QB in one half of play to he his squad go 5-1.

TE Brian Kortovich

Week One: Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph won, 47-7, vs. GlenOak, led by Ohio State RB commit Bo Jackson. Kortovich, who is playing both slot and wideout this year, had two catches for 50 yards with a 2-yard TD reception.

Week Two: Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph toppled Cardinal Mooney, 31-7, to improve to 2-0. Kortovich had 4 catches for 40 yards.

Week Three: Villa Angela-St. Joseph is 3-0 after crushing Mansfield Senior, 60-0. Kortovich had 3 grabs for 40 yards.

Week Four: Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph crushed Kenston, 53-35. Kortovich notched 2 catches for 30 yards.
Week Five: Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph beat Cleveland Central Catholic, 48-6. Kortovich had three catches for 40 yards and a TD.

Week Six: Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph suffered its first lose, falling 38-35 to McDowell. Kortovich had 2 catches for 30 yards.

DL Drayden Pavey

Week One: Cincinnati Taft started the season by defeating Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville), 43-0. Pavey had 1.5 sacks, 7 tackles and “a lot of QB hurries and pressures.”

Week Two: Taft took down Chaminade Julienne Catholic, 12-7. Pavey had 8 total tackles, 3 TFLs.

Week Three: Taft is 3-0 after whipping Archbishop Alter, 36-7. Pavey had 10 tackles, 4 TFLs and 1 sack.

Week Four: Taft dropped its first game, falling 20-16 to Mt. Healthy.

Week Five: Taft crushed Thurgood Marshall, 72-0.

Week Six: Taft lost to Withrow, 19-14, as Pavey had 5 tackles and 2 TFLs.

OL Cameron Gorin

Week One: Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.) downed Carroll (Fort Wayne), 45-21, as Gorin started at left tackle for the Royals who had 285 rush yards and 414 total yards.

Week Two: HSE played North Central in a game that was postponed until Saturday, with the Royals winning, 49-26.

Week Three: HSE is now 3-0 after defeating Avon, 28-10.

Week Four: HSE dropped its first game, falling 37-35 Fishers.

Week Five: HSE fell to Westfield, 21-14.

Week Six: HSE beat Zionsville, 25-14.

OL Takhyian Whitset

On3Profile

Week One: Antioch (Nashville) defeated Lebanon, 34-22. Whitset didn’t give up any sacks with 6 pancakes and 0 pressures allowed; on defense, he had 4 tackles, 2 pass deflections, 2 TFLs.

Week Two: Antioch (Nashville) beat Nolensville, 36-33. Whitset didn’t allow any sacks and added 5 total tackles, 2 solos and 1 pass deflection.

Week Three: Anticoh is now 3-0, beating Cane Ridge, 40-6. Whitset had 3 total tackles, didn’t give up any sacks.

Week Four: Anticoh lost its game, losing 41-14 to Oakland. Whitset had 4 tackles, 2 deflections, 4 pancake blocks, no sacks or pressures allowed playing left OT.

Week Five: Anticoh whipped McGavock, 56-30. Whitset had 7 pancake blocks, 4 tackles and a TFL. He received a fourth star as a recruit from On3 last week.

Week Six: Antioch lost, 27-6, to Stewarts Creek. Whitset had 8 total tackles on defense. He allowed no sacks from the LT position.

QB Sawyer Anderson

Parish Episcopal (Dallas) opens August 30 vs. All Saints.

Week One: Parish Episcopal (Dallas) lost its opener, 39-35, to All Saints. Anderson threw for 287 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for another score.

Week Two: Parish Episcopal is 1-1 after beating Episcopal, 45-21. Anderson had 324 yards passing and 3 TDs.

Week Three: Parish Episcopal blasted Cornerstone Christian, 69-33, improving to 2-1. Anderson was 17-of-20 pass for 398 yards and 3TDs.

Week Four: Parish Episcopal lost 48-47 to LBJ Austin. Anderson had 387 passing yards, 4 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD.

Week Five: Parish Episcopal topped Legacy Christian Academy, 56-27. Anderson was 20-of-28 for 343 yards with 3 TDs and ran 6 times for 90.

WR Lebron Hill

Week One: Hammond (Ind.) Morton lost, 45-17, to Portage, notching its first win since 2022. Hill had a 45-yard TD grab (below).

Week Two: Morton fell to 0-2, losing to Chesterton, 36-23. Hill had four catches for 80 yards.

Week Three: Morton fell to 0-3 after losing 35-23 to Tippecanoe Valley.

Week Four: Morton dropped to 0-4, losing 54-28 to Byron Center.

Week Five: Got first win of season with 52-0 win vs. Calumet Tech.

Week Six: Morton was off.

RE Rashad Jones

Belleville (Mich.) opens August 30 vs. Clarkston

Week One: Belleville opened with a 35-28 triumph over Clarkston.

Week Two: Belleville moved to 2-0 after knocking off Stevenson, 44-6.

Week Three: Belleville crushed Churchill, 65-0, to move to 3-0.

Week Four: Belleville topped Dearborn, 49-22

Week Five: Belleville whipped Franklin, 35-6.

RE Landon Brooks

Week One: Delta (Muncie, Ind.) defeated Muncie Central, 28-7. Double- and triple-teamed almost all night, the rangy Brooks had 1.5 sacks, 9 tackles and 2 blocked passes as Muncie Central barely ran to his side.

“Our defense is just really good,” Brooks told the Daily News. “You saw our secondary hustle pretty good. As long as we stop the run, we’re good.”

Week Two: Brooks helped Delta pitch a 35-0 shutout vs. Norwell.

Week Three: Delta downed Shelbyville, 37-7, to remain unbeaten.

Week Four: Delta lost its first game, falling to Yorktown 28-14.

Week Five: Delta lost 49-20 to Mt. Vernon.

Week Six: Delta was clipped by New Castle, 16-14.

RB/LB Jaron Thomas

Week One: Elkhart (Ind.) Concord beat Elkhart, 13-12. Thomas faced Purdue target and Tennessee d-end commit Mariyon Dye. Thomas had 76 yards rushing on 19 carries, with 8 tackles and a TFL on defense.

Week Two: Concord took down Jimtown, 49-28. Thomas ran for 106 yards and a TD.

Week Three: Concord toppled the Mishawaka Cavemen, 35-34, moving to 3-0. Thomas ran for 180 yards and 2 TD and had 7 tackles.

Week Four: Concord improved to 4-0 with a 34-17 triumph vs. Northridge. Thomas ran for 176 yards and scored 3 TDs.

Week Five: Concord edged Warsaw, 28-24. Thomas had 81 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Week Six: Concord remained perfect, taking down NorthWood, 27-17. Thomas ran 31 times for 208 yards and 3 TDs. He also had 8 tackles.

RB Ziaire Stevens

Week One: Akron East lost to Chaney, 21-6. Stevens scored the Red Dragons’ lone TD on a 47-yard jaunt. He finished with 12 carries for 103 yards and the aforementioned TD. Good video of Stevens from the preseason below:

Week Two: East fell to 0-2, losing to Bedford, 27-20, as Stevens had 18 carries for 125 yards and 1 TD.

Week Three: East won its first game, taking down Elyria, 26-19. Stevens had 19 Carries 198 yards and 1 TD.

Week Four: East lost 42-6 to Archbishop Hoban and is now 1-3.

Week Five: East beat the University School, 37-9. Stevens ran 22 times for 213 yards and a TD.

Week Six: East beat Ellet, 42-0. Stevens ran 22 times for 180 yards and 3 TDs.

OL Kuol Kuol

Week One: Centerville (Ohio) toppled Lakota East, 31-21. The Elk had 160 yards rushing and 150 yards passing, with Kuol Kuol helping pave the way at left OT.

Week Two: Lost to St. Xavier, 34-10, falling to 1-1 on the season. Centerville had 183 yards rushing and Kuol Kuol had numerous knockdowns.

Week Three: Centerville lost to Carmel, 44-23. Kuol Kuol helped Centerville tally 106 yards rushing and yield no sacks.

Week Four: Centerville beat Fairmont, 31-28, to move to 2-2. Kuol Kuol helped the offense gain 224 total yards; he gave up zero sacks.

Week Five: Centerville lost to Springfield, 17-3.

Week Six: Centerville downed Beaver Creek, 48-13. Koul Koul allowed 0 sacks and helped his team gain 304 total yards and 48 points.

ILB Sam Steward

Week One: Fort Wayne Homestead lost, 34-10, at Carmel, which had 187 yards rushing and 116 yards passing.

Week Two: Homestead fell to 0-2, getting beat, 49-6, by Noblesville.

Week Three: Homestead notched its first win, taking down Wayne 22-8. Steward had 12 tackles and 3 for loss.

Week Four: Homestead blanked Northrup, 40-0.

Week Five: Homestead eased past Bishop Dwenger, 17-14.

Week Six: Homestead was blanked by Fort Wayne Snider, 35-0.

CB Zyntreacs Otey

Week One: Otey had 2.5 tackles, 1 PBU and an interception in Battle Ground Academy’s 68-41 victory vs. Webb.

Week Two: Battle Ground Academy blasted Maplewood, 69-3, to go to 2-0. Otey had two tackles.

Week Three: Otey helped Battle Ground Academy move to 3-0 with a 35-28 triumph over Nashville Christian, notching 3 tackles.

Week Four: Battle Ground moved to 4-0 with a 34-7 victory vs. Davidson Academy. Otey had 3 tackles.

Week Five: Battle Ground lost to Christ Presbyterian Academy, 49-16. Otey had 7 tackles.

Week Six: Battle Ground whipped Hunters Lane, 32-8. Otey had two tackles.

2026 commitments

QB Oscar Rios

Week One: Rios hit 16-of-27 passes for 297 yards and 3 TDs and ran for 104 yards and a TD, as Downey beat Notre Dame, 42-21.

Week Two: Rios guided Downey to a 2-0 mark with a 33-26 victory vs. Orange Vista, throwing a game-winning TD pass in the fourth quarter. Rios finished with 296 yards passing and two TD passes, along with 108 yards rushing and a TD on the ground.

Week Three: Downey won a 69-68 shootout with Millikan, moving to 3-0. Rios was 20-of-32 for 356 yards, 4 passing TDs, 1 INT, 144 rushing yards, 3 rushing TDs.

Week Four: Rios improved Downey to 4-0 with a 21-0 win vs. Westlake. Rios threw for 215 yards and a TD.

Week Five: Downey lost its first game, 35-32, to Red Mountain.

Week Six: Downey was off.
