As the high school football season begins kicking off around the country, Purdue’s many commitments begin their senior — in some cases, junior — campaigns. As we have done for years, GoldandBlack.com will try to keep track of each recruit’s weekend results.

Week 9 …

QB MARCOS DAVILA

On3 Profile

Week 8: In the Friday Night Lights rivalry, Midland Legacy (formerly Lee) was edged by Permain 32-31 on a last-second two-point conversion. Davila threw for three touchdowns.

Week 7: Davila was 19-of-23 for 258, four TDs and an interception in a win over Frenship.

Week 6: Davila was 18-of-26 for 178 yards and two interceptions in a win over Judson. He also ran for 38 yards.

Week 5: Legacy beat Converse Judson 39-31. No stats available yet.

Week 4: In a 62-31 loss to Steele, Davila was 17-of-33 for 360 yards, with three TDs and two interceptions. He also ran for 48 yards on six carries, with an additional score. (Video below)

Week 3: In a 48-17 win over Abilene, Davila was 18-of-32 for 353 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions and ran for a touchdown. He became his school’s all-time passing leader.

Week 2: In a 63-34 win over Tascosa, Davila was 9-of-21 passing for 269 yards — 30 yards per completion — with a touchdown and two interceptions. He also ran for 40 yards on four attempts.

Week 1: Midland Legacy beat Amarillo 35-7.with Davila completing 16-of-29 throws fot 209 yards and three touchdowns.

WR KEONDE HENRY

WR SHAMAR RIGBY

Week 8: Clearwater Central Catholic won by forfeit. Its opponent didn’t have enough players.

Week 7: Six catches for 94 yards and a TD in a blowout win over Northside Christian.

Week 6: Rigby did not play.

Week 5: Rigby returned from a hip issue and caught two passes for 41 yards in a 38-20 win over Sebring.

Week 4: Rigby sat out this weekend with a mild hip injury.

Week 3: Rigby caught a 17-yard pass in CCC’s 35-10 win over Tampa Catholic.

Week 2: CCC beat Trinity Catholic 35-10. Rigby caught one pass for 17 yards.

Week 1: Rigby caught six passes for 86 yards in Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic’s 21-14 win over Berkley Prep.

DB LEONTRE (SMILEY) BRADFORD

Week 8: In a 27-0 East St. Louis win over Edwardsville, Bradford made four tackles.

Week 7: Bradford made six tackles in a 59-0 win over Alton.

Week 6: In a 63-0 win over Belleville West, Bradford made six tackles and recorded an interception.

Week 5: Beasley has returned to the field after undergoing shoulder surgery early in the season. He played in Cincinnati LaSalle’s 30-13 win over Canisius this weekend.

ATH LUKE WILLIAMS

Week 8: Williams recorded an interception and caught two passes for 34 yards in a 28-7 win over Waubonsie Valley.

Week 7: In a 30-t win over Matea Valley, Williams caught one pass for 11 yards, carried once for seven and made three tackles.

Week 6: In a 21-14 loss to Naperville Central, Williams caught 10 passes for 89 yards, made six tackles and intercepted a pass.

Week 5: In a 42-20 win over DeKalb, Williams caught six passes for 97 yards and two scores, ran once for 11 yards, intercepted a pass and made three tackles. (senior video below)

Week 4: In North’s 17-7 loss to Nequa Valley, Williams caught 10 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. On defense he intercepted two passes and made seven tackles.

Week 3: North beat Bolingbrook 51-49. Williams caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown and made five tackles, one for loss.

Week 2: North fell to Loyola Academy 27-6. Williams caught three passes for 41 yards, ran 33 yards on his one carry and recorded a tackle. He also punts.

Week 1: Naperville North beat Homewood-Flossmoor 35-21. Williams made four tackles, one for loss, and caught five passes for 45 yards and a TD on offense.

EDGE JAYLIN JONES

Week 7: Six catches for 103 yards and a score in another one-sided win. Five tackles on D.

Week 6: Five catches for 119 yards, plus four tackles, an INT, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Week 5: Dallas Christian beat Nolan Catholic 59-21. Nettles caught three passes for 106 yards, including a 90-yard TD. He also made three tackles.

Week 4: Nettles torched Bishop Lynch for 10 catches, 248 yards and three scores, leading Dallas Christian to a 41-28 win. (Video below)

Week 3: Dallas Christian beat Tolar 37-6. On offense Nettles caught 10 passes for 189 yards and a score. On defense, four tackles.

Week 2: In Dallas Christian’s 17-13 loss to Ouachita Christian, Nettles caught six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown

Week 1: In a 48-0 win over Bishop Dunne, Nettles caught nine passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns on offense and made one tackle on defense.

DL JAMARI PAYNE

Week 7: Loachapoka beat Autaugaville 30-13. No stats available yet.

Week 6: In a 39-0 win over Calhoun, Payne made eight stops, with three more sacks.
