Purdue true freshman rush end DJ Allen is in the portal. The 6-3, 225-pound native of Memphis, Tenn., just got to campus in January after graduating Germantown High early.
Allen was a three-star recruit who selected the Boilermakers over Louisville. He originally was committed to UCF before backing away from that pledge.
Purdue is expected to shop for a replacement in the portal.
Allen is the third Boilermaker to enter the portal since it opened last Tuesday, joining DB Ethon Cole and RB Christian Womack.
The portal is open for 15 days, from April 16-30.
