Purdue S Sanoussi Kane to forego final season, turn pro

Purdue S Sanoussi Kane announced on social media tonight that will forego his final season of eligibility and turn pro, having received his degree.
Kane arrived in West Lafayette in 2020, playing in 33 games with 25 starts over four seasons. He made 161 tackles with 11 TFLs and 2.0 sacks in his Purdue career.

The 6-0, 215-pound Harlem, N.Y., native was a captain on the 2023 squad, ranking second on the club with 79 tackles. He also had six TFLs, a sack and seven PBUs, starting all 12 games. Kane was a consensus honorable mention All-Big Ten selection in 2023.
In 2022, Kane played in all 14 games with 12 starts. He led the team in total and unassisted tackles with 72 and 54, respectively. As a sophomore in 2021, Kane played in all 13 games with a start in the Music City Bowl vs. Tennessee. He made seven tackles on the season. As a true freshman in 2020, Kane played in six games and made three stops.
