Wilson has a decorated playing tenure. He is fresh of an NFL career, playing for the Cardinals, Redskins, Eagles, Washington Football Team and Broncos, his last team in 2021. Wilson entered the NFL in 2019 as “Mr. Irrelevant,” the dubious title given to the final selection each year in the draft. Wilson was the 254th–and final–selection in the 2019 draft, tabbed by Arizona.
The 6-4, 240-pound Wilson was a star tight end at UCLA, earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2018. He also spent time at Old Dominion as a quarterback before walking on at USC to play for his father, Chris Wilson, a former NFL player who was the defensive coordinator at Colorado the previous two seasons. Caleb Wilson then landed at UCLA, where he finished his college career.
