Purdue WR Elijah Canion is in the portal
Another Purdue receiver has entered the portal: Elijah Canion. He has two years of eligibility.
Canion played the last two seasons at Purdue, nary making an impact often because of injury. He leaves West Lafayette having made one catch for four yards in four games. The 6-4, 212-pound Canion spent his first two seasons at Auburn. He has played in 11 games in his career, making eight catches for 130 yards and a TD.
Canion is the sixth Boilermaker scholarship wideout to enter the portal: Deion Burks (Oklahoma), T.J. Sheffield (Michigan State), Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen (South Florida), Mershawn Rice and Curtis Deville. Walk-on Trey Firestone (Ball State) also entered the portal.
