RB Christian Womack has entered the transfer portal

Purdue RB Christian Womack’s name appears in the NCAA transfer portal.
Womack was a late addition to the 2023 class, coming on board last May. He originally was headed to a JC before Purdue wooed him. Now, he’s gone, not playing a snap in West Lafayette.
Womack’s departure leaves Purdue with three scholarship running backs: Devin Mockobee, Reggie Love and Jaheim Merriweather. The staff likes the potential of walk-on Elijah Jackson.
Womack’s departure means Purdue could shop for a running back in the portal.
The portal is open for 15 days, from April 16-30.
