Ten players expected to work out at 2024 Purdue Pro Day
As GoldandBlack.com reported a few weeks, Purdue will conduct its Pro Day on March 7. Now, GoldandBlack.com has obtained the roster of 10 players expected to work out for NFL scouts on that day in the Mollenkopf Athletic Center:
OL Ben Farrell
OL Daniel Johnson
OL Preston Nichols
RB Tyrone Tracy
DL Malik Langham
S Cam Allen
S Sanoussi Kane
CB Marquis Wilson
P Jack Ansell
LS Nick Taylor
Tracy is the Boilermaker who has the best chance to be picked in the 2024 NFL draft, which will take place April 25-27 in Detroit. The Indianapolis native and former Iowa Hawkeye will take part in the NFL Combine, set to be run February 29-March 3 in Indianapolis. Tracy took part in two postseason all-star games: Hula Bowl and East-West Shrine Bowl.
“God-willing, the goal is to get drafted,” Tracy told GoldandBlack.com last month. “I think I have a shot at it. I want scouts and GMs to not have any doubt that they should draft me.”

At last year’s Pro Day in the Mollenkopf Athletic Center, all 32 NFL teams sent scouts. Players perform various drills for scouts, including the standing broad jump, 40-yard dash, bench-press and three-cone drill, among others.
The 2023 draft saw five Boilermakers selected, the most in a single draft since Purdue had nine players chosen in 2004. Last year’s Purdue NFL selections: WR Charlie Jones (Bengals), QB Aidan O’Connell (Raiders), TE Payne Durham (Buccaneers), CB Cory Trice (Steelers) and LB Jalen Graham (49ers).
