More members of Barry Odom’s football support staff are becoming known. The latest: Travis Monken and David Wayne Spurlock.
Monken is an offensive quality control coach for Purdue, while Spurlock will work as an analyst with tight ends.

Prior to coming to Purdue, Monken was a student assistant working with tight ends and fullbacks at Oklahoma State, his alma mater. His father is Todd Monken, the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens who is thought to have interviewed for the Purdue job that went to Ryan Walters.
Spurlock came to Purdue from Georgia State, where he was an offensive analyst working with tight ends. Spurlock also has coached at Texas A&M, NAIA Keiser and Florida State, his alma mater where he played offensive line from 2008-11.
